Catching & Riding Thermal Updrafts
Throughout the world of Sorana, hot air currents and storm vents create visible vertical wind tunnels:
- Teal Swirling Rings: Flying directly into these ascending rings grants 30-40 meters of vertical altitude.
- Instant Stamina Refresh: Entering an updraft instantly restores 50% of your depleted glider endurance ring.
High-Speed Diving & Flare Landings
To achieve maximum flight velocity:
- Pitch your nose down at a 45-degree angle to build forward momentum.
- Level out horizontally to skim across canopy tops at double normal flight speed.
- Perform a Flare Brake by pulling back right before touching ground to avoid impact damage.
Riding Hunting Tornado Funnels
